Weld County Magistrate Meghan Saleebey

Meghan Saleebey is a Weld County Magistrate, presiding over family law matters in Division 3. She joined the 19th Judicial District on May 29, 2018.

About Meghan Saleebey

Meghan Saleebey (pronounced “Sa lee bee”) initially presided over the juvenile delinquency and truancy dockets in Division 14. On Sept. 23, 2019, she was appointed as a District Court Judge. 

Magistrate Saleebey has also served as a senior deputy district attorney in the juvenile unit of the Denver District Attorney’s (DA) Office, where she had been a prosecutor since 2009. 

Along with her extensive experience practicing law and serving as a magistrate in Weld County, Magistrate Saleebey also has a master’s degree in social work. She was a victim advocate in the Boulder DA’s Office for two years and a victims’ rights specialist with the Colorado Division of Criminal Justice for five years. Subsequently, she attended law school at Denver University, after which she spent one year as the staff attorney at the Colorado Organization of Victim Assistance (COVA).
