Jen Easterday’s passion is helping clients to focus on the implications of the legal matters at hand and solving them efficiently as their Fort Collins family law and child custody attorney. Jen is a devoted advocate for her clients, always keeping in mind their long-term goals.
Eleven years at the Ohio Northern University Claude W. Pettit College of Law Legal Clinic gave Jen a broad and well-rounded legal experience. In this role, she served a diverse client base on a wide-range of legal matters, overseeing activities of civil clinic students and providing legal support involving family law, child custody, social security disability appeals, and landlord/tenant cases. She now brings that thoughtful and big picture perspective to each of her client’s cases as a Fort Collins family law and child custody attorney, calling upon her breadth of experience to provide superior client service to the Northern Colorado community.
Helping children is a priority for Jen. She is a certified Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA), working with CASA of Larimer County. Through her support of the organization, Jen represents children in court who are facing abuse or neglect, advocating for their best interests as a Fort Collins area child custody attorney. Appointed by the Juvenile Judge for this role, Jen has helped children fight for their legal rights, ultimately finding a safe, permanent home.
Jen received her Juris Doctorate with high distinction from Ohio Northern University Claude W. Pettit College of Law and her Bachelor of Science in biology and geology from the University of Rochester.
Outside the office, Jen enjoys spending time with her family, which includes a seven-year-old and two cats. She enjoys traveling to visit extended family, nature walks, reading, and the theater.
